The Insurgence began in 2004 in the rain soaked city of Seattle, WA. They quickly gained a reputation as one of the hardest working bands in the Northwest. Gaining such attention landed them support slots for such heavy hitters as RANCID, DROPKICK MURPHY\'S, CIRCLE JERKS, SUBHUMANS, US BOMBS, ZEKE, AVAIL, MISFITS, & STREET DOGS just to name a few.

It didn't take long for people to take notice and the guys were in the studio with legendary producer Jack Endino (Nirvana, Dwarves, Zeke, Valient Thorr) working on material for an upcoming full length. What was squeezed out of those sessions was also the four songs that appear here on the "Never Surrender" ep.
